Donations settle straight to your bank on your own Stripe payout schedule — DonorForge is not a payment intermediary and adds no platform percentage on top.

    You paste the API keys from your own Stripe account. Donations are charged directly on your account and settle to your bank on your payout schedule; DonorForge does not pool or hold funds.

    The same keys power one-time gifts, recurring giving with retry logic, future-dated scheduled donations, pledge invoices, and multi-pledge payment plans — plus refunds and dispute sync back from your Stripe dashboard.

    Apple Pay, Google Pay, 3-D Secure

    Cards are entered through Stripe’s secure in-browser form, which brings Apple Pay and Google Pay with it and handles bank-required 3-D Secure authentication.

    No added platform fee

    You pay Stripe’s processing fees to Stripe — including any discounted nonprofit rate you’ve negotiated. DonorForge does not add a percentage on top of donations.

Common questions
Whose Stripe account receives the donations?
Yours. Each organization enters the API keys from its own Stripe account, and every donation is charged directly on that account and settles to your bank. DonorForge is not a payment intermediary and does not pool funds.
How hard is setup?
Paste your Stripe secret key and publishable key into Settings → Payments and click Save & verify. DonorForge validates the keys with Stripe and creates the sync webhook on your account automatically — no manual webhook configuration.
Does DonorForge add a fee on top of Stripe?
No. You pay Stripe’s standard processing fees to Stripe. DonorForge does not add a platform percentage on top of donations.
Is card data secure?
Yes. Card details are entered in Stripe’s own in-browser form and tokenized by Stripe (a PCI Service Provider Level 1 processor); they never reach DonorForge servers.
